  1. Please write a short essay on one of the following topics: Topic #1. One of the greatest traits that Al valued was personal integrity. His advice was, “Be a person of your word. Personal integrity is one of the most important traits a human can have.” Are there any moments where you can point to that your personal integrity was defined or grew? Topic #2. Al was a technologist and led one of the biggest tech companies. But throughout his life and work he always kept the motto, “Keep it Simple”, even having signs produced for employees to keep at their desks. In this time of a world that becomes more complex with technology that is ever-present, describe how you might use the phrase or currently approach a facet of life where you “Keep it Simple”. Topic #3. Al was an actively engaged in business and politics throughout the region and the world. Seeing many areas where rules, policy, politics, or business actions were either ineffective, not practical or against good common sense. He professed a mantra, “COMMON SENSE is not a crime” (modeled after the bumper sticker that reads “SKATEBOARDING is not a crime). Are there any areas of your life that would be smoother or roadblocks that would disappear if we all followed a rule of “Common sense is not a crime”?
